Dhoom 3 is written and directed by Vijaya Krishna Acharya after successful movie series Dhoom and Dhoom 2.
In indian multiplex cinemas, it is known that the Dhoom 3 tickets have been sold in higher price i.e upto @ Rs. 900. In Nepal Dhoom 3's Official license has been bought in around 3 crores 20 lakhs by Gopi Krishna Movies. Dhoom 3 was screening on 120 different halls of Nepal during its initial release. Also the ticket price for this movie was slightly increased for the first few days at Gopi Krishna and QFX cinemas.
According to the box office report Dhoom 3 is able to collect 36 crore rupees in the very first day breaking the record of the highest Chennai Express (33 crores). The first week's total collection of Dhoom 3 is 190 crore.
Dhoom 3 has a rating of 6.5 out of 10 (from 10, 602 users) in IMDB website and 8.1 out of 10 in Rotten Tomatoes from only 7 users.
